BauPVO - Leistungserklärungen (DoP)

Am 1. Juli 2013 tritt die neue Bauproduktenverordnung (BauPVO) in Kraft. Die Leistungserklärung nach Artikel 6 der BauPVO tritt an die Stelle der EG-Konformitätserklärung nach BPR.

Die BauPVO regelt die Bedingungen für das Inverkehrbringen und die Bereitstellung von harmonisierten Bauprodukten auf dem Markt und legt die Anforderungen an die Leistungserklärung und die CE-Kennzeichnung fest.

Hiernach müssen Hersteller, die Bauprodukte mit CE-Kennzeichnung ab dem 01.07.2013 in den Markt bringen, dem Händler und dieser dem Verarbeiter für jedes ihrer Produkte eine sogenannte Leistungserklärung (LE oder DoP, Declaration of Performance) zur Verfügung stellen, also in gedruckter oder elektronischer Form aktiv übermitteln.

BauPVO - Declaration of Performance (DoP)

The new Construction Product Ordinance (BauPVO) takes effect on 1 July 2013. The Declaration of Performance as per article 6 of BauPVO substitutes the EC Declaration of Conformity as per BPR.

The BauPVO lays down conditions for placing or making available on the market of construction products by establishing rules how to express the performance of construction products in relation to their essential characteristics and on the use of CE marking.

Hereafter, as from 01 July 2013, manufacturers who place construction products with CE marking on the market have to provide actively a so-called Declaration of Performance (LE or DoP) for each of their products, i.e. as paper copy or by electronic means, to the distributor, who has to make it available to the user.
